An Evening on the Greenway
Tonight my friend and client met at her new house in Cordgrass Landing. Our mission was to catch the last rays of sunlight and watch the sunset while walking on the incredible Greenway. The weather was perfect, long sleeves and high sixty degrees and dogs stretching at their leashes we crossed main road to the weird and wild little non neighborhood area next to the Limehouse bridge to Johns Island. With the oyster shell path of the Greenway crunching under our feet we could hear birds singing and the whistle of the train across the vast expanse of marsh and rivers. The convergence of the Rantowles and the Stono Rivers creates an incredible natural beauty. This incredible leg of the Greenway is just outside of Charleston but feels like you are a million miles away.
