Saturday happenings in the borough's
Two things to mention thus far for Saturday arethe Artist's Market at the Music Farm, which I went to last year and found lots of unique hand made Christmas gifts and enjoyed wandering around the big space looking at crafts while sipping a bloody mary. Check out the second one this Saturday Nov 13th, from 10-3pm, it's free and it's at the Music Farm at 33 Ann St, downtown Charleston Sc just off upper King St. Click here to read a bigger description in Charleston Scene.Afterwards I highly recommend hanging a left off King onto Spring St and heading 5 blocks down to just before President St where the new local food market The Remedy is having a soft opening. The Remedy is described as: "The Remedy Market on Spring" is located on the corner of Spring st and President st in downtown Charleston. At the Remedy you will find a wide array of food and locally sourced products. The best place to pick up a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner. Locavores welcome. Saturday's event starts at 3pm and not only will the much anticipated market be opening but the event also features some live local music and an oyster roast. See you there!
