SeeWee A Great Brunch Spot

Sometimes as much as we love it, we just need to get out of Charleston. Find a quick getaway by heading North up Hwy 17 through the cone maze that is Mount Pleasant. Pass Hwy 41 and keep on trucking until you reach Awendaw and the roadside SeeWee Restaurant. I went last weekend and what a treat. My date enjoyed the crab cake eggs benedict while I went for the fresh grouper SeeWee style grilled in garlic and sherry. Everything was great, including the sides: fried okra, butter beans, squash casserole and more. A true soulful food experience and a fun trek for Sunday Brunch.
