Moe's Crosstown Tavern gets a nod from Esquire Magazine

For their recent 50 Best Bars article, Esquire Magazine must have left no stone unturned. They somehow picked Moe's Crosstown Tavern, the Wagener Terrace hole in the wall, watering hole where folks can "have a good time on the bad side of town" as the bar's tee shirt campaign slogan states. I can even remember when that slogan was accurate before Wagener Terrace became one of the best neighborhoods in Charleston. The terrace has become a new frontier for innovative bars and restaurants and news of new happenings coming out weekly. We residents, however, know how to make new friends but keep our own as the saying goes, and we don't need Esquire Mag to tell us that Moe's Crosstown is tavern gold!
