Plant some flowers tonight in Elliotborough

Tonight at Elliotborough Park, the Charleston Parks Conservancy is hosting an event to plant the front flower beds with new plants.  The event is from 5:30 - 7:30.   Bring gardening gloves, small shovels, and other planting supplies if you have them.  Plants are being provided by the Conservancy.

We will also be working on taking down the rusty chain link fence at the front of the park so it can be replaced with a nicer looking fence and some plants, so if chain link removal is more your speed than planting flowers, please come to the park and help get rid of the rusty old fence.  Bolt and wire cutters, and hacksaws will be needed to help with this project.
